Ringworm Uv Pictures Can Any UV Black Light Be Used To Fluoresce Ringworm?

Can any UV black light be used to fluoresce ringworm? - ringworm uv pictures

I have a kitten, 9 weeks old, of King of the lichen under UV fluorescent light is black and I wanted to check my other cat, and I for him. Can you give me a right old UV black light bulb and use of, or an individual?

The type of lamp that a veterinarian named Wood used lamp. Not exactly the same as a regular light. The Wood lamp fluorescent moth, only about 50% of the time, so it is useful as a screening tool. When fluorescent can be sure it is ringworm, but if one is a 50:50-a chance still exists ringworm. There are other things that fluoresce under a black light of any kind, such as urine, so you need to know exactly the color you want.

amended to add - this is the wavelength of light they emit. Woods lamp used as a veterinary surgeon or dermatologist, is cheap in the $ 300 and wider, but a black light can be purchased.
